Our calves are usually the most under-trained muscles in our body and is usually neglected from a strength program. 💪
Most people don’t understand or believe the importance of keeping your calf complex strong. If this is you (or you just want to know more), then read on!
Everyone knows that the heart pumps blood, right?
Did you know that your body has a second blood pump?
It’s your calf muscles! That’s right, your calf muscles are your second heart! The body is engineered so that when you walk, the calf muscles pump venous blood back toward your heart.
Calf stretching ensures that there is no soreness in your legs post-exercise. Of course, they also make your calves better, stronger, and leaner. 🕉️

The first and foremost thing would be to try and modify how most of us perceive health these days. To make a positive change by making people learn and understand that your health is more about you working better internally and that reflecting on your outside. 🙌

Our eyes are an important part of our health and it's necessary to take care of them for a smooth day-to-day living. 👀

Most eye problems occur gradually over time due to ignorance of the symptoms in the initial phase. Common causes may include staring at the screen for a long time, insufficient light, lack of sufficient care, poor
nutrition among others.

A few basic lifestyle changes can easily save you from such problems and even help you cure some of them. Doing these things can help you keep your eyes healthy and ensure that you are seeing your best. 💛

• Eating a well, balanced diet including plenty of citrus fruits and green leafy vegetables, nuts, seeds, carrots, eggs etc. help your eyes. Staying well hydrated is an important step too.

• Maintaining a healthy weight and regular exercise will help you control problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol which in turn reduce the risk of vision problems.

• Giving your eyes proper time to relax by working on your sleep schedule and including a few simple exercises as shown above is the primary way to go.

• Getting regular eye check ups will help you diagnose your symptoms initially, if there are any and thus, will help you fix the issue.

• Wearing sunglasses when going out in too much sunlight for long hours helps you protect your eyes from too much UV rays exposure. Quit smoking as people who smoke are likely to suffer from cataract, optic nerve damage as they grow old.

*PERSONAL ADVICE : Applying a few drops of oil, mostly coconut oil or almond oil and massaging it well around your eyes (under eye area and upper eyes, being aware that it doesn't enter your eyes) before sleeping at night really helps you relax your eye muscles. 😴

As we announced the launch of our business 7 days ago, here is a little bit more glimpse of what's going to come in a few days..🌿

A health & wellness platform for all those who have good as well as bad days when it comes to accepting their ownselves, cause we, here at wholesomelivingwithradhika believe that true health begins with positivity and self-acceptance and not with telling yourself that you need to eat or look a certain way to be termed "healthy & fit".
We believe that health comes in all shapes, sizes & styles and noone is absolutely unhealthy. It's just about a few cycles that we all need to break. We won't tell you any fad diets that won't even last 2 months nor will we advertise any exercise that will help you achieve that flat stomach within a week.
But, we can sure promise that joining us will help you cure all that can be done with the right balance of food and movement and the rest will be managed well. We will make you enjoy becoming a healthier version of you as we will work on improving your health for all the right reasons providing you with a wholesome, sustainable way of living. 🙌
