Held on April 12 at the beautiful Radisson Collection, Srinagar, the evening brought together some of the sharpest minds in cardiovascular care, all under one roof. From atherosclerosis and ACS to the evolving world of heart failure, every topic was explored with depth, clarity, and a shared passion for better patient care.

Led by Prof. Upendra Kaul, and graced by stalwarts like Prof. M S Khuroo ( a legendary gastroenterologist of india) and Prof. Ashraf Ganie, this CME was a true celebration of learning and collaboration.

The mobile hospital has all the facilities and advanced diagnostic equipment like ECG, portable echocardiography with doppler, ambulatory blood pressure (BP) monitoring for complete non-invasive assessment of heart.

Lancet study calls for major shift in treatment of heart disease

“The Lancet Commission’s rethinking of prioritizing preventive aspects of atherosclerotic coronary artery disease (ACAD) from focusing on the detection and prompt management of the end stage of atherosclerosis leading to heart attacks and sudden death to basics of preventing the building up of the plaque in the arteries, makes lot of sense,” said Upendra Kaul, chairman cardiology and dean academics and research, Batra Hospital and Medical Research Centre.
