Hard work always payoffs !!

I congratulate to Mrs. Suhani Sinha (Ph.D. research scholar) upon a joint research article publication in Drug Development and Industrial Pharmacy with a 3.727 impact factor. I also thank to Prof. Rohit Dutt for his comprehensive guidance which made it possible to publish in Q2 ranking journal. This publication has added one more feather 🪶 in cap of all co-authors of this article. I also thank to God and my Gurus for giving me opportunity to explore my research skills in cancer nanotechnology and biomaterials for betterment of humankind healthcare.

The easiest way to convert temperature

A) Convert 37 Celsius to Fahrenheit?
Solution: 37 × 1.8 + 32 = 98.6 Fahrenheit

B) Convert 98.6 Fahrenheit to Celsius?
Solution: 98.6 - 32 * 0.5556 = 37.00

Admiration values a lot

An elephant and a dog became pregnant at the same time. Three months down the line, the dog gave birth to six puppies. Six months later, the dog was pregnant again, and nine months on it gave birth to another dozen puppies. The pattern continued.

On the eighteenth month the dog approached the elephant questioning, "Are you sure that you are pregnant? We became pregnant on the same date. I have given birth three times to a dozen puppies and they are now grown to become big dogs, yet you are still pregnant. What's going on?"

The elephant replied, "There is something I want you to understand. What I am carrying is not a puppy but an elephant. I only give birth to one in two years. When my baby hits the ground, the earth feels it. When my baby crosses the road, human beings stop and watch in admiration, what I carry draws attention. So what I'm carrying is mighty and great."

Don't lose faith when you see others receive answers to their prayers in what seems like record time.

Don't be envious of others' testimony. If you haven't received your own blessings, don't despair. Say to yourself "My time is coming, and when it hits the surface of the earth, people shall yield in admiration."

Do not compare your journey to anyone else’s

The Nobel Assembly at the Karolinska Institutet has today decided to award the 2021 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine jointly to David Julius and Ardem Patapoutian “for their discoveries of receptors for temperature and touch.”

Our ability to sense heat, cold and touch is essential for survival and underpins our interaction with the world around us. In our daily lives we take these sensations for granted, but how are nerve impulses initiated so that temperature and pressure can be perceived? This question has been solved by this year’s Nobel Prize laureates.

David Julius utilised capsaicin, a pungent compound from chilli peppers that induces a burning sensation, to identify a sensor in the nerve endings of the skin that responds to heat. Ardem Patapoutian used pressure-sensitive cells to discover a novel class of sensors that respond to mechanical stimuli in the skin and internal organs. These breakthrough discoveries launched intense research activities leading to a rapid increase in our understanding of how our nervous system senses heat, cold, and mechanical stimuli.

The 2021 Nobel Prize laureates in physiology or medicine identified critical missing links in our understanding of the complex interplay between our senses and the environment.
