The 10-Day Molecular Docking Hands-on Workshop by BDG LifeSciences kicks off this evening—don’t miss your chance to participate.

Over the next 10 days, you’ll work through:
- Active site prediction
- Protein–ligand & multi-ligand docking
- Protein–protein, –DNA, –RNA, –peptide, and metal-ligand docking
- SwissDock & AlphaFold3 applications

Each session is live (via Zoom), fully hands-on, with recordings and each day summary provided for review. A certificate will be awarded upon completion.

🔬 Introduction to NGS Workshop by BDG LifeSciences– Highlights

We recently conducted a 2-hour introductory workshop on Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) led by our CTO, Sharvari Kulkarni, where participants gained a comprehensive understanding of sequencing principles and their real-world applications.

The session covered:

✅ Advantages of NGS over Sanger sequencing

✅ Applications in healthcare, agriculture, pharmacogenomics & personalized medicine

✅ NGS workflow – from DNA fragmentation to data analysis

✅ Key concepts: read types, sequencing coverage, genome sizes

✅ Bioinformatics databases (NCBI, SRA, ENA) & file formats (Fastq, Sam/Bam, Vcf, Gtf)

✅ Quality control & analysis using FastQC, MultiQC, Trimmomatic & Galaxy server

This interactive session laid the foundation for upcoming hands-on workshops, where participants will apply these concepts directly in practical analysis.

We just wrapped up a 7-day intensive hands-on bioinformatics workshop, where participants from across the globe explored the fascinating world of computational biology. 🌍💻🧬

🔹 Days 3 & 4: CRISPR Design, Genome Editing & Phylogenetic Analysis
