Case Presentation--
• History - A female patient of age 62 years visited our hospital with a complaint in decrease of vision in OU from 1 year.
She has no history of using glasses and contact lenses.

• Ocular history
No any laser/surgeries in eyes

•Systemic history with medication
1. Hypertension from 5 years
2. Thyroid from 5 years

•Vision unaided
RE: F.C at 3m
LE: FC at 2m

•IOP
RE:19 MMHG
LE:19 MMHG

• Dry Retinoscopy
Dull glow with shadow

• Pupil examination
Irregular and Sluggish reacting

After all this work up we have dilated the patient with Tropicamide plain for fundus examination.
•Dilated examination findings
OU-
Iris coloboma with Zonular cataract
Patients is advised MICS under GVP in view of Amblyopia and Developmental cataract.

Zonular/Lamellar cataract (Opacification of lens material between clear nucleus and cortex can be seen) - This type of cataract is bilateral, congenital or aquired.The cataract is always large enough to occlude the pupil.

A stye is very painful. It often appears at the eyelid’s edge, usually caused by an infected eyelash root.

A chalazion is not usually painful. It is a bump that usually develops farther back on the eyelid than a stye. It is caused by a clogged oil gland.

The patient was diagnosed with "Pseudomonas keratitis" (check previous posts if you haven't seen) after using contact lenses. She was put on medication and for regular follow ups. After two weeks the patient's condition improved. Her vision was significantly improved. The patient was feeling better than before.

A patient presented with the complain of doubling along with blurring of vision from OD since 1 week.
The patient had history of ocular trauma with hand pump few months back, for which she had undergone for wound exploration, scleral tear repair surgery along with VR (Vitreo-retinal) + FAE (Fluid air exchange) + LPFC (Liquid perfluorocarbon) injection at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai.
Va : (OD) F.C. @ 1 meter; (OS) 6/6
NCT: 12 mm Hg (OU)
Ocular examination: (OD) Superior scleral thinning with multiple SO bubble, aphakia & Iridodialysis.

A patient presented in OPD with complain of gradual diminution of vision via OD from past 6 months.
Patient had history of blunt trauma 3 months back.
Pupil examination:
OD :oval shaped and slightly sluggish
OS: R/R/R
Ocular examination,
VA : HM , PL +ve , PR +ve (OD) , 6/6 (OS)
IOP : 18mmHg (OD) , 14mmHg (OS)
On slit lamp evaluation,
AS : a ruptured capsule with a lenticular opacity was seen in OD
Fundus examination,
B scan : OD = WNL
FR dull
The patient was diagnosed with traumatic cataract and was advised Cat Sx under GVP ( multi piece IOL implantation).
