Gentleman from west Africa operated 5 times in Africa for comminuted fracture right elbow and the sixth time in a reputed hospital in Mumbai where elbow was planned to be fused but the surgery failed again .we were in touch me and the patient despite language barrier French speaking ,he managed to reach us .we did an elbow replacement nearly ten days back ,so yesterday I just removed the slab and asked patient to bend his elbow ……….
We can’t except any more ……this is the first day of his movements .He reached his mouth ….scratched his head ……
Happy to see the sign of relief on his face ….
And his happy relatives and family who were waiting to watch his results on video call …..
