Here’s why it’s great for people living with diabetes:
-Low GI fruit ~ prevents sudden sugar spikes
-10 g fibre per 100 g ~ slows carb absorption
-Rich in antioxidants ~ reduces inflammation
-High Vitamin C ~ supports immunity
-Good for heart health ~ important for diabetes management
How to include it?
1-Add 1 fruit to chia pudding
2-Mix pulp in curd
3-Add to salads or oats
4-Take as mid-meal snack
