This saree is from my Mom's trousseau from her wedding which was nearly 35 years back!

As a new mom its very important for you to take out tine for yourself and do what gives you mental peace. For me that is my work and sleep. I network for work, but that's not something I would do for myself.

A lot of people questioned my decision of taking only 1 month off post partum, or taking my daughter to office with her nanny, but if that gives me peace so be it. My husband and my mom always said do things your way and every mother is different, just follow your instincts as you know best for our daughter.

Remember, Mental peace >>>>>> Anything else.
Because if you are calm then you can be more productive, have a better recovery, be more compassionate and open towards others and be a happier person.

If you don't choose yourself over others, others will also not choose you.

Sometimes the best learnings and value is provided in casual yet deep conversations.

It takes years of experience and hard work which results into smart work, where you can provide value to the person in front of you within minutes.

Thank you for choosing me to be your mother, Pia. You have taught me what unconditional, selfless love is. You have made me stronger and more resilient, and I hope one day you will say this empire and legacy was built by my mom and dad together. Thank you for making me the woman I am.

And to all my fellow mothers, you can never be *just* a mother.

I have lived abroad alone at 21, did a job and built my startup at once, moved countries again, started my career from scratch, almost went to zero runway twice, but still, motherhood is the most difficult and thankless job in the world. Happy Mother's Day to you all!

Women when they make up their mind, they can achieve anything ! They can overcome failure, trauma, pain and come out with such strength and power.

When a woman gives birth she goes through so much nobody can understand and she comes out way stronger as a mother and if she can do that, you have no idea what she is capable of!

These women are a group of such crazy achievers and influence the world around them
