Not every health trend is meant for your body 🌿

Ayurveda talks about prakriti—your unique body constitution made of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.

This decides how you digest food, handle stress, respond to weather, and even how much energy you have.

That’s why Ayurveda doesn’t support trending “superfoods” for everyone.

Some popular examples 👇

• Chia seed water / pudding
Great for some, but its heavy and sticky nature can cause sluggishness in Kapha types.

• Pumpkin & sunflower seeds (daily snacking)
Highly nourishing, but sweet and heavy—can worsen Kapha when eaten in excess.

• Cold smoothies, smoothie bowls & iced detox drinks
Very common on Instagram, but they can strongly aggravate Vata, leading to gas, bloating, anxiety, or poor digestion.

• Raw salads for dinner
Often promoted for weight loss, yet difficult to digest—especially for Vata and Kapha constitutions.

• Intermittent fasting without guidance
Can suit some people, but may disturb Vata.

• Ashwagandha, turmeric shots, herbal powders for everyone
Even herbs should be personalized. What heals one person can imbalance another if taken unnecessarily.

Ayurveda believes in personalised health, not viral trends ✨

The right food, routine, and herbs depend on your prakriti.

When you eat according to your constitution, your body feels lighter, calmer, and more balanced—naturally.

Ayurveda has always emphasized how you eat, not just what you eat 👇

❌ Eating when you’re not truly hungry
❌ Rushing through meals
❌ Scrolling on your phone while eating

When your digestive fire (Agni) is disturbed, your body pays the price.
Pause. Listen to your hunger cues. Eat mindfully.
Support digestion from the root 🔥

Ayurveda doesn’t believe in blanket restrictions.

It believes in right grain, right quantity, right person.

🍚 Red rice (Rakta Shali ) stands apart because it:

• Releases glucose slowly, preventing sudden spikes
• Is rich in fiber and antioxidants
• Supports blood sugar balance than polished white rice

🌿 Ayurvedic qualities of Rakta Shali:

• Madhura (sweet in taste)
• Laghu (light to digest) and Snigdha (gently nourishing)
• Balya — promotes strength and stamina
• Varnya — supports healthy complexion
• Helps balance Vata, Pitta, and Kapha when eaten appropriately
• Supports eye health and helps clarify the voice
• Nourishes the Dhatus at a deeper level

When eaten in small portions,
properly cooked and combined with vegetables, dal, and healthy fats,
it supports the body rather than burdening it.

🌿 When food is chosen with understanding,
it becomes medicine — not a trigger.

Kalamegha (Bhunimba) 🌿
One of Ayurveda’s strongest bitter herbs for Kapha–Pitta balance.

If you’re wondering how it’s used, here’s a simple guide:

• For fever, liver inflammation, or jaundice:
Kalamegha is taken as a decoction (boiled and strained) to support the liver and reduce excess heat in the body.

• For nausea or vomiting:
Its paste mixed with honey is used to calm the stomach and settle pitta.

• For digestion issues like heaviness or poor appetite:
The powder with hot water or ginger juice helps improve digestion.

• For skin problems like eczema or depigmentation:
A paste applied externally supports skin cleansing and healing.

• For blood purification:
A cold infusion is traditionally used in pitta-related conditions.

• For high fevers (only under guidance):
The powder may be combined with black pepper.

Kalamegha is bitter, light, dry, and strong in action—
which is why dose, timing, and form matter.

This is not a daily herb.
It is used therapeutically, based on your body and condition.

Always take under Ayurvedic guidance.
