"I know the reason and the solution to my back pain, but no one wants to treat it properly. Every physio I meet is just after making money from me."
Several failed attempts later, a client just tried in my clinic's number, from its google profile.
I listened to his concerns.
"How do you wish to be helped out, Sir?"
"Do you have time to listen to me?"
"That's the best thing which I have, for any of my clients Sir."
He listened. I continued.
"Upto 90 minutes of one-to-one time, for each of my clinic or online appointments- that's my commitment to each of my clients Sir."
"Ok."
"For the first appointment, very likely it extends to double the time, as I deal mostly with long term aches and pains Sir."
"What all you do in that much time?"
"I listen to the client's story, Sir. That's the only way I can help them out of their repeated sufferings."
"Ok. How much do you charge?"
"₹ 1500 for the detailed physiotherapy assessment, which happens on the first appointment."
"That's too much for a half an hour consultation."
"Not consultation Sir. It is an assessment. My approach of physiotherapy assessment dives deeper into the problem and identify clues to what has caused the problem and most importantly, why it is not getting resolved."
"So how many physiotherapy sessions do you give, in that appointment."
"None, Sir. The fees doesn't include any therapeutic physio session. The idea is to first understand whether physiotherapy, as per my approach, will work for my client or not. If yes, then in approximately how much time we can expect results and what will be his or her role and my role in the same. It is surely a time consuming thing conducting that assessment, Sir."
"Ok. I'll plan and confirm with you."
"As a policy, I do not bother my enquirers with follow-up or spam messages, Sir. You are always welcome to call back, or book an appointment on my clinic's website."
"What's your clinic's website address?"
"Its https://.sugardenphysio.com. I'll whatsapp it to you as well, for your convenience."
"Ok, got it. Thank you"
"Thank you for connecting and sharing your concern. Looking forward to relieving you of your back pain, Sir."
