Dr. Bhupesh Singh is a senior consultant and practicing Ophthalmologist at Bharti Eye Hospital, New Delhi. He has done his post graduation from Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Sitapur. He did his comprehensive Ophthalmology and cornea fellowship from L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. He did another fellowship in Cornea and Refractive surgery from Narayana Nethralaya, Bengaluru. He was also

a visiting fellow at UCLA, California, USA and visiting Fellow at SNEC, Singapore. His primary areas of interest are cornea and Refractive surgery (LASIK, SMILE). He has a vast experience in managing challenging cataract surgeries. His expertise are phacoemulsification as well as Laser cataract surgery. As a cornea surgeon, he has performed a lot of corneal transplants (penetrating keratoplasty, endothelial keratoplasty, deep anterior keratoplasty) with extremely good results. He has managed many complicated corneal pathologies medically and surgically with extremely good outcomes. He is the only cornea surgeon in Delhi performing laser corneal transplants. He has been invited as a guest faculty to speak on different corneal and refractive surgery problems and their management nationally and internationally. He has trained many ophthalmologists in phacoemulsification and LASIK.

आई फ्लू के लक्षण ?

आंखों में लाली या पीलापन, खुजली, आंखों से पानी आना, आंखों से पानी निकलना, आंखों में चिपचिपापन, पलकों पर सूजन, तेज रोशनी के प्रति असहिष्णुता आदि इसके लक्षण हैं।

कैसे करें आई फ्लू से बचाव ?

गंदे हाथों से आंखों को न छूना, बार-बार साबुन और पानी से हाथ धोना, रुमाल या अन्य कपड़े साझा न करना, दूसरों के सीधे संपर्क में न आएं, धूप या धूल से बचने के लिए चश्मे का उपयोग, आंखों को साफ करने के लिए उबाल कर ठंडे पानी का उपयोग, आसपास साफ-सफाई रखें, भीड़-भाड़ वाली जगहों और स्विमिंग पूल से बचें ।

आई फ्लू होने पर क्या करें ?

बिना डाक्टरी सलाह से आंखों के लिए किसी भी दवा का प्रयोग न किया जाए। आंखों को साफ करने के लिए आई वाइप्स का इस्तेमाल करें। आंखों को रगड़ें नहीं, कांटेक्ट लेंस का उपयोग न करें, नुस्खे या घरेलू उपचार का उपयोग न करें, घर पर पहले से तैयार आई ड्राप का उपयोग न करें।
