💢CONGENITAL CHLORIDE DIARRHEA -
(CCD)
================================

💢PANCREATIC MASS😯
=================

📌 What is pancreatic mass??

✍️ A pancreatic mass is an abnormal growth or lump in the pancreas, a gland located behind the stomach. A mass can be solid or a fluid-filled cyst and can be either benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous). A mass in the pancreas is often an incidental finding discovered during an abdominal imaging test performed for other reasons.

⏩Common symptoms
Many pancreatic masses, especially in their early stages, do not cause symptoms. When they do appear, symptoms can be vague and are often confused with other digestive issues.

👉Abdominal or back pain: A common symptom that may radiate from the abdomen to the back, especially if the mass is in the body or tail of the pancreas.

👉Unexplained weight loss and loss of appetite: Occurs as the mass affects the body's ability to digest food and absorb nutrients.

👉Jaundice: A yellowing of the skin and eyes that can happen if a mass in the head of the pancreas blocks the bile duct. This can also cause dark urine and light-colored stools.

👉Fatigue: A feeling of abnormal physical weakness or tiredness.
Nausea and vomiting: Can occur if the mass presses on the stomach or small intestine.

👉New-onset diabetes: A sudden diagnosis of type 2 diabetes in an older adult may be an early warning sign of pancreatic cancer.

😯Types of pancreatic masses:-
Pancreatic masses are broadly categorized based on the cells where they originate.

Exocrine tumors :-
Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma: The most common and aggressive type, accounting for about 95% of all pancreatic cancers. It originates in the ducts that carry digestive enzymes from the pancreas.

Mucinous cystic neoplasms (MCNs): These are usually benign but have the potential to become cancerous and are often found in women over 50.

Intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms (IPMNs): Grow within the pancreatic ducts and produce a thick fluid called mucin. They are also considered precancerous.

Pancreatic pseudocysts: A benign, fluid-filled sac resulting from inflammation or trauma to the pancreas, such as pancreatitis.

💢UTERINE FIBROIDS IN POSTERIOR OF WALL !!
====================
👉Patient has complaint pelvic and hip pain with white water discharge & dysmenorrhea

📌What is uterine fibroids ??

✍️Uterine fibroids are noncancerous growths that develop in or on the walls of the uterus. Also known as leiomyomas or myomas, they are very common, with some estimates suggesting that up to 80% of women develop them by age 50. Fibroids can range in size from tiny, almost microscopic growths to large masses that can fill the entire uterus.

⏩ Types of uterine fibroids:-
Fibroids are classified based on their location in the uterus:

Intramural: The most common type, intramural fibroids grow within the muscular wall of the uterus.
Subserosal: These fibroids form on the outer surface of the uterus and can sometimes grow large enough to put pressure on nearby organs, like the bladder.

Submucosal: The least common type, submucosal fibroids grow into the uterine cavity, just under the inner lining. Even small submucosal fibroids can cause heavy bleeding and fertility problems.

Pedunculated: These fibroids grow on a stalk, or peduncle, either inside or outside the uterus, giving them a mushroom-like appearance.

💢. LIVER MASSES 😯

📌What is liver masses??

👉A hepatic mass is an abnormal growth within the liver, which can be either benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous). Benign masses include liver hemangiomas (tangled blood vessels), hepatic adenomas (abnormal liver cells), and liver cysts (fluid-filled sacs). Malignant masses, such as hepatocellular carcinoma, are cancerous growths that can result from chronic conditions like hepatitis or cirrhosis. Hepatic masses are often discovered during medical imaging for other reasons, and their size, symptoms, and potential for malignancy determine if treatment is necessary.

✍️
Symptoms
Many hepatic masses are asymptomatic and found incidentally.
If symptoms occur, they can include:
Abdominal pain
Jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes)
A palpable lump in the abdomen
Other signs of liver dysfunction

------------------------

💢What is vuj calculus??

📌VUJ calculus refers to a kidney or ureteral stone located at the vesicoureteric junction (VUJ), the narrow point where the ureter (the tube from the kidney) connects to the bladder. This is a common location for kidney stones to become stuck, causing symptoms like severe lower abdominal pain, a frequent urge to urinate, pain during urination, and blood in the urine.

⏩What are the symptoms of a VUJ calculus?

📌Sharp pain: in the lower abdomen or groin.
Frequent urge to urinate .
Pain during urination .
