Join in—whether it’s cooking lighter meals together, going for walks, or being active as a family, so the person doesn’t feel left out.

4.Acceptance 
Don’t push food, don’t insist on “just one bite,” and let them eat in the portions they are comfortable with.

5.Appreciate milestones
