This is an emotional post—but one that every parent of a child with special needs must read and be aware of.
In recent times, many residential homes and community groups have emerged claiming to support families like yours and mine. As parents who constantly live with the haunting question “What after us?”, we often place our trust in such organizations—sometimes blindly—because their words sound reassuring, kind, and full of promises.
Sadly, not all that glitters is gold.
Many of these assurances turn out to be hollow. Commitments are made, but not honoured. Transparency is promised, but accountability is missing.
When it comes to a girl child, I am sure many of you will agree—the concerns double.
Her safety, her belongings, her dignity, and her behavioural well-being matter deeply.
So I ask:
• What if the organization you trusted gives you NO RESPONSE to the wrong done to your child or her belongings?
• What if trustees ignore repeated calls, messages, and pleas from parents?
• What if, despite having clear proofs, they are so shameless that they don’t even offer an apology?
What should be the course of action against people who appear heartless, driven only by money, and completely insensitive to the emotions of families like ours?
Through this post, I seek support, awareness, and unity against such organizations that are not only befooling parents, but also misguiding, misusing, and breaking the sacred trust of families of children with special needs.
I will soon disclose the name of the organization along with proofs.
