Breast Cancer ER PR HER-2 Ki-67

ER & PR receptor assays are routinely performed on Breast carcinoma to assess responsiveness to endocrine therapy and prognosis. Her-2 expression predicts responsiveness to Herceptin therapy. Ki-67 in addition is a useful prognositc marker. Together ER, PR, Her-2 and Ki 67 help to predict prognosis and serve as surrogate IHC markers for molecular subtypes of Breast Cancer.

( NEED PRESCRIPTION )

Sample type -Submit tumor tissue in 10% Formal-saline nOR Formalin fixed paraffin embedded block. Ship at room temperature. Provide a copy of the Histopathology report, Clinical history & indicate site of biopsy.

If there are several cases of dengue in the area, it's essential to be proactive in monitoring and managing your health. Here are some recommended blood tests for dengue:

(1) Dengue NS1 Antigen Test: This test detects the presence of the dengue virus antigen in the blood during the acute phase of the infection, usually within the first few days of symptoms onset.
Dengue IgM Antibody Test: IgM antibodies are produced by the immune system in response to a dengue infection. This test can help confirm a recent dengue infection.

(2) Dengue IgG Antibody Test: IgG antibodies develop later in the course of the infection and can persist for months to years after the initial infection. This test can help determine if you have had a past dengue infection.
Complete Blood Count (CBC): A CBC can help assess the severity of the infection by measuring platelet count, which tends to drop in dengue fever.

(3) Liver Function Tests (LFTs): Dengue fever can affect liver function, so LFTs can help monitor liver enzymes such as ALT and AST.

(4) Kidney Function Tests (KFTs): In severe cases of dengue, kidney function may be affected. KFTs can help assess kidney function by measuring creatinine and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) levels.
Clotting Profile: Dengue can sometimes lead to abnormal clotting and bleeding tendencies. A clotting profile, including tests such as prothrombin time (PT) and activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT), can help assess clotting function.

(5) Serum Electrolytes: Electrolyte imbalances can occur in dengue fever, so testing for electrolyte levels such as sodium, potassium, and chloride can be beneficial.
