Complex Pelvi-Acetabular Surgeries !
Case 1 : 50 yrs old lady with 1 month old complex acetabular hip fracture. Treated conservatively with traction & bed rest somewhere else in hope to convert into hip replacement surgery. Her xray and ct showed hip ball inside the pelvic cavity with displaced fracture and pelvic discontiuity. She underwent hip surgery to make hip joint congruent and stable.

Case 2 : 70 yrs old gentleman had complex hip acetabular fracture underwent hip joint fixation with anterior intra pelvic plating to make the columns in continuity and stable to accept future Hip replacement surgery just with normal cup if required so.
Badly Displaced acetabular fractures with pelvic discontiuity are always challenging to convert into total hip and usually require complex revision cages and cups with short life.
With fixation of columns in acceptable position, we can make the hip replacement surgery easygoing with normal cups onky that will last for longer than non biological cup cage constructs.
