The Buffalo Mindset: A Powerful Lesson from Nature.
When a storm rolls across the plains, cows and buffaloes react in starkly different ways.
Cows instinctively run away from the storm, trying to outpace it. But because they’re not fast enough, the storm eventually overtakes them. By moving in the same direction as the storm, they remain trapped in it longer, enduring more exhaustion and prolonged hardship.
Buffaloes, however, take a bold and counterintuitive approach—they charge straight into the storm. By confronting it head-on, they move through the chaos more quickly, minimizing their time in turmoil and reducing their suffering.
This contrast teaches us a valuable lesson:
Running from problems only makes them worse. Avoiding fear, discomfort, or challenges extends the pain. But when we face difficulties with courage and determination—like the buffalo—we overcome them faster and emerge stronger and wiser.
In life, storms are unavoidable. So the real question is:
Will you run like a cow, or charge like a buffalo?
At Dooper, we choose the buffalo’s way—meeting challenges head-on, creating bold solutions, and tackling the problems others shy away from.
Because real growth happens when we step into the storm, not away from it.
