Sur homoeopathic college and research centre is happy to announce that on 16th February 2024, the college canteen was officially inaugurated by our respected principal Dr. Neeraj Gupta, Nodal officer of Canteen committee Dr.Neena, AAO, OS, Administrative staff, Mr. Sunil, faculty members, PWD officials, staff members, interns & HOO Dr.Meeta who motivated for it’s formal inaugural. Dr BR Sur homeopathic Medical College Hospital and Research Centre observed 'swachhata hi seva' campaign and 'Shramdaan' for swachhta on 1st October 2023, from 10:00 a.m. onwards which was organised by kayakalp, swachata and BMW committee of the college under the supervision of the Principal Dr Neeraj Gupta.

The following events occurred:-

•Swacchata Pledge was taken by committee members, doctors nursing staff, JR , interns and staff members.
• Cleaning of college premises and rally starting from college premises to neighbouring areas.
• Steps of hand hygiene and waste management were demonstrated by JR to the general public.
• Short nukkad natak by the students of SHMC

Dr. B.R. Sur Homoeopathic Medical college, Hospital and Research Centre observed "Vigilance Awareness Week" from 31st October 2022 to 6 November 2022 on the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birthday.
Theme of Vigilance awareness week was Corruption free India for a developed nation.
Following events occurred in this week :-
1) Poster making competition on the topic Anti-corruption in which Swati - BHMS I and Chetna Meena - BHMS III got 1st & 2nd prize respectively.

2) Integrity pledge was taken by all the students and staff.

3) Seminar was conducted by Dr. K.G Mahabole on nurturing and pooling in vigilance.

On 14th of october under Swachhata commitee of hospital a team of three interns. Dr. Pushkar, Dr. Srishti and Dr. Naivaidhya went several places including Gurudwara, Mandir and Security agencies to guide general public about hand hygiene ,proper discarding of waste and making people concerned about pollution and how to avoid it prior to Diwali, Pamplets regarding hand washing steps were pasted at respected places and were distributed among people too.

As a part of AFP/Fever and Rash Surveillance Sensitisation, the WHO Delhi in collaboration with community medicine department of Dr. B.R Sur Homoeopathic Medical College , Hospital conducted a workshop on 18th October 2022 in which the Faculty Members, Medical officer, Senior Resident,Interns and Students of Dr. B.R. Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital participated.

Welcoming the WHO , Delhi unit , Surveillance Sensitisation team , Dr . Pramod k CMO ( NPSG ) highlighted the importance of the Sensitisation workshop which was followed by felicitation of Dr. Sheema Chowdhary, Surveillance Medical officer NFSP- WHO unit , Delhi.
In her presentation , Dr Sheema Chowdhary exlplained the revised case definition of Measles , AFP surveillance, polio eradication programme and provided the updates of Global , National and Delhi status . The WHO, aims to eradicate the Measles - Rubella by 2023 . The workshop intended to ensure that no case of AFP / Fever and Rash / VPO case is missed from reporting site.
The Sensitisation workshop concluded with a vote of thanks to WHO Surveillance Sensitisation team and the participants .

NATIONAL UNITY DAY, 2022
Dr. BR Sur Homoeopathic Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre.
On 31st October 2022, Dr B R Sur Homeopathic Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, New Delhi, observed Rashtriya Ekta Divas or National Unity Day to commemorate Sardar Vallabhai Patel’s birth Anniversary, the architect of national integration of independent India. On this occasion, all the faculty members, staff and students took the ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ Pledge.
This was followed by a Unity walk , in which staff and students participated.
The whole event was graciously held due to the able guidance of our principal, Dr. Seema Rai and Academic Incharge, Dr. Archana Narang. Academic branch and the student council played a pivotal role in organising and ensuring the smooth conduct of events.

Sur Homoeopathic Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre a sensitisation lecture was organised .The Geriatric department had organised this talk, in-charge of Geriatric department Dr. R.C. Bawiskar ,had delivered sensitisation to the staff and students of the institute. The response of the students was overwhelming.
