February — World Cancer Awareness Month 🎗️

As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen community-based cancer awareness and early detection, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar (Cancer Specialist) along with Specialist Avadesh Sharma from Max Hospital, Dwarka, New Delhi, conducted a free cancer awareness and screening camp in Village Chudiala, District Ghaziabad, in the esteemed presence of social activist Shri Arun Baisla ji.

The initiative focused on enhancing public understanding of cancer prevention through:

• Education on early signs and symptoms of common cancers
• Importance of timely screening and early diagnosis
• Lifestyle modification and risk-factor reduction strategies

An interactive awareness session was followed by a free cancer screening OPD, reinforcing the commitment to accessible and preventive oncology care at the grassroots level.

Such outreach programs align with national and global priorities, including WHO and ICMR recommendations, emphasizing awareness, vaccination, screening, and early intervention to reduce cancer burden in India.

Together, through education, screening, and community engagement, we move closer to improving outcomes and saving lives.
