Dr. Nikhil Gupta is a Rheumatologist and Immunologist in North, West & North-West Delhi. He mainly practice around Rohini, pitampura, Ashok vihar, Rani Bagh & Punjabi Bagh area. He completed MBBS from the prestigious institute of India - Maulana Azad Medical College & Lok Nayak/Irwin Hospital. He did his MD Medicine from UCMS & Guru Teg Baha Dur Hospital, Delhi. Then he completed his Post Doctoral

Fellowship in Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology from the world renowned institute - Christian Medical College, Vellore. Dr. Nikhil Gupta has also worked in All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi as Senior Research Fellow in the department of Rheumatology. Dr. Nikhil Gupta has many publications in both national and international journals. Also, he has presented his research work at various international conferences. He is a member of Indian Rheumatology Association & American College of Rheumatology. He is expert in managing Joint pain and arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Chikungunya-related Joint Diseases, Autoimmune Diseases, Myositis, Rheumatoid Arthritis Treatment, SLE (lupus) Management, Vasculitis Management, psoriatic arthritis, reactive arthritis, back pain,neck pain, bone pain etc..

I had the opportunity n privilege to present two posters at the APLAR 2024 conference in Singapore.

The first poster explored the "Impact of Weight Loss on Medications to Treat Rheumatoid Arthritis," highlighting how weight management can influence treatment outcomes.

The second poster focused on the "Transition from Intravenous to Subcutaneous Tocilizumab in Rheumatoid Arthritis," examining the benefits and considerations of changing the administration route in patient care.

I was honored to participate in the International Purple Fest – Goa 2024, organized by the State Commissioner’s Office for Persons with Disabilities in collaboration with the Directorate of Social Welfare, Government of Goa. Supported by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, the festival aimed to showcase the talents of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) through captivating performances in music, dance, and entertainment during the Opening Ceremony.

I had the privilege of being invited for a panel discussion, focusing on the causes of delays in the diagnosis and treatment of Persons with invisible disabilities. This discussion covered perspectives from both patients and doctors, with the goal of raising awareness among policymakers about the deficiencies in managing such patients.

It was heartening to witness attendees from various parts of India and abroad, and being part of this event was truly a privilege.
