Context: Went to my school as a workshop facilitator!!!🎊😍

Experience: It’s been a few months now since the event, and I’m a bit late to share my experience. But, here I am!!

As I walked through the hallways of my old high school, memories flooded my mind. It had been years since I stepped foot in this place as a student, but this time, I returned as a workshop facilitator.

I couldn't believe how much had changed since the years I spent here. The classrooms had been renovated, and the lockers had been replaced. The smell of fresh paint mixed with the familiar scent of school, bringing back nostalgic memories.

The students seemed excited, which made me feel amazing!

The workshop was about careers in psychology in India & abroad, something that has always been a passion of mine because I love spreading awareness. I was excited to share my knowledge and experience with these students, who were still figuring out their careers.

The classroom setting had changed, but the feeling of being in a school was still the same. The sound of pencils scratching on paper and the occasional rustling of textbook pages brought me back to my own school days.

At the end of the workshop, the students thanked me for my time, saying that they had learned a lot. I thanked them in return, feeling truly grateful for the opportunity to give back and make a positive impact.

As I walked out of the school, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. It had been a unique experience, one that reminded me of why I loved teaching and helping others grow.

A special thank you to my favourite teacher & mentor, Ms. Kamakshi Ma’am. Her support and love helped me grow in life. ❤️

Finally, November 9, 2022, will always hold a special place in my memories. 🫶🏻

Attachment styles are characterized by different ways of interacting and behaving in relationships. During early childhood, these attachment styles are centered on how children and parents interact.

In adulthood, attachment styles are used to describe patterns of attachment in romantic relationships.

There are 4 styles of attachment:

1. Dismissive avoidant: A person with dismissive avoidant attachment usually doesn't pursue romantic relationships, and may actively avoid them. They are highly secretive, dismissive and have brief & casual relationships.

2. Fearful-avoidant: They have a strong desire for close relationships, but distrust others and fear intimacy.

3. Anxious-preoccupied: You might have significant difficulty trusting people and have a strong fear of being rejected. Although you may desire close, intimate relationships, your anxiety about being abandoned can interfere with your ability to form these connections.

4. Secure: They appreciate their own self-worth and ability to be themselves in their relationships. They openly seek support and comfort from their partner, and are similarly happy when their partner relies on them for emotional support.
