The key to these helping is knowing what state your nervous system is in and what you need in the moment.

1. Sing or humm
2. Gargle
3. Dance to a favorite song (match the mood you’re looking for)
4. Walk (in peaceful nature is even better)
5. Notice where you feel tension in your body and place your hand there
6. Hug a pillow
7. Hug a person that you deeply trust (20 seconds does wonders for co-regulation)
8. Make the sound of VOO (like you would β€œOm” in a yoga class)
9. Bounce in place (keeping feet on the ground).
10. Have a shower. Take the water temperature away of what you prefer to bring you more into your body (not to an extreme, just a bit cool vs cold for instance).

Experiment with these and let me know what you notice 🀍

You take a new perspective on getting help, on letting it be known that things may not be going well in some area of your life. In this case, it may be a way of thinking that you have to do everything on your own and that you don’t want to burden others with your pain. What if you tried something different? What if you shared your feelings with the people who you know love you and want the best for you. Bring them into the fold. Maybe you don’t want to β€œcomplain”, but let this be the year where you let people know what you don’t like, what you’re not going to put up with, especially if you have been suffering in silence.
This is the year you Question how β€œSuffering in Silence” has been serving you and if it has been serving you. This is the year you use your voice to reveal your truths, so that you can get out of any ways in which you have given up your power by hiding your truth to be liked or for any other reason. This is the year to begin taking responsibility, so that you can move forward into something new that fits with the way you want to show up in the world.
If there’s anything you’ve been afraid of doing, this will be the year you break that pattern of fear and begin doing those things that will help you come out of your shell. That shell has kept you protected, but it’s also kept you trapped. What is your shell? What is that thing that has lulled you into a false sense of safety? What would it mean to go beyond the boundaries of your shell into the unknown?
Maybe you are adept as expressing your needs and wants, but you are hiding your pain. You may think that others cannot help you, but the Universe wants you to find someone you can confide in, even if that someone is a therapist. Being vulnerable may be scary, but it is a step towards becoming strong and being your most authentic self.

🦷🚺 Ever wondered why some women experience toothache before their periods?

In Ayurveda, toothache before menstruation is often attributed to the concept of "Srotas," the body's channels of circulation. According to Ayurvedic principles, the menstrual cycle is closely connected to the body's overall balance of doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) and the Agni (digestive fire).

Before menstruation, there's an increase in the Vata dosha, which can lead to dryness and heightened sensitivity in various body tissues, including the gums. This Vata aggravation might cause an imbalance in the Ranjak Pitta, a subtype of Pitta dosha responsible for blood health.

During this phase, when Ranjak Pitta becomes imbalanced, it can manifest as gum inflammation or increased tooth sensitivity due to disrupted circulation in the oral tissues. The body's response to hormonal fluctuations can contribute to aggravated Vata and altered Pitta, affecting oral health.

Ayurveda suggests maintaining a balanced lifestyle, including proper oral hygiene, regular oil pulling with sesame oil, consuming warm and nourishing foods, and practicing gentle self-care rituals, especially during the premenstrual phase, to help pacify aggravated doshas and alleviate toothache associated with menstrual cycles.

πŸ§ πŸ’ Are You Spending Too Much Time in Your Head? πŸš€ Discover What Lies Below! πŸ‘‡πŸ’«

In a world where we're constantly analyzing, planning, and strategizing, it's easy to get lost in our thoughts. But here's the thing: if we spend too much time in our heads, we risk missing out on what's happening from the neck down.

🌟 Why It Matters:
Our bodies hold a wealth of wisdom and signals that we often overlook. That tension in your shoulders? It might be stress manifesting physically. That knot in your stomach? It could be your gut telling you something important.

πŸ’‘ The Neck-Down Journey:

Mindful Awareness: Take moments each day to shift your awareness from your head to your body. Breathe deeply and notice any sensations, tensions, or feelings.

Emotional Release: Your body often stores unprocessed emotions. Allow yourself to feel and express what's been lingering beneath the surface.

Movement and Play: Physical activity, dancing, or yoga can reconnect you with your body and release pent-up energy.

Listen to Your Gut: Your gut instincts are real. Trust your intuition and pay attention to those "gut feelings."

Have you ever felt so lost in thought that you forgot to listen to what your body is saying? It's a common challenge in today's fast-paced world. But here's the truth: If you spend too much time in your head, you'll miss out on the wisdom of your body.

🌊 Mind-Body Connection: Our bodies have an incredible ability to communicate with us. Aches, pains, butterflies in the stomach - these are not just random sensations. They're messages from your body, telling you something important.

🌸 Listening to Your Body: When you pause and tune in, you discover a world of insights. Stress may manifest as tension in your shoulders, anxiety might tighten your chest, and exhaustion could weigh on your entire body.

πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈ Mindfulness Practices: Mindfulness, yoga, and meditation are powerful tools to bridge the gap between mind and body. They teach us to be present, to listen, and to respond with care.

So, the next time you catch yourself lost in thought, remember to check in with your body. It knows things your mind hasn't figured out yet. πŸ™βœ¨
