Homostasis refers to balanced and stable internal environment of body through relatively having normal temperature, normal level of blood sugar, proper water balance etc. When the level of homostasis is disturbed, behaviours like irritability, indigestion, insomnia and other uncomfortable states often result.

Most of the diseases such as hypertension, migraine, heart disease, diabetes, high or low blood pressure etc are result of poor lifestyle. We all know and aware of that still we do very less efforts in bringing changes in our lifestyle.

The need is to have balanced diet, proper sleep, exercise and healthy daily routine to keep equilibrium in body and homostasis in control. By keeping healthy life style we can be cheerful and blissful that would help to have healthy body and mind.

To get all in order and for all that efforts it is important to have healthy state of mind first then only we put efforts. To achieve that one need to follow Positive psychology interventions

Positive psychology works by improving on what is already there and extends its help by cultivating inner strengths. Following are few examples of PPI to gather that inner strength and drive it towards working on to correct our Homeostasis.

Savoring: By continuous encouraging self and others towards positive thoughts, experiences. Savoring interventions can be connected to everyday experiences like eating, smelling, or observing, only with a little more orientation and focus to what we are consciously attending to (Bryant, Smart, & King, 2005). Savoring PPIs can be reliably used for treating depression and mood disorders, as they produce happiness and self-satisfaction.

Kindness: We all possess kindness as trait. It is not about how much money you spend. The goal of kindness activities is to promote happiness through such altruistic and selfless contentment.

Gratitude interventions : Gratitude s PPI intervention are categorized into two parts:

Self-reflective practices, for example, writing a gratitude journal that we keep to ourselves and use as a tool for self-expression.

Interactive methods where we actively express our gratitude to others by saying ‘thank you,’ giving small tokens of appreciation, or paying gratitude visits.

Empathy PPIs

Empathy-oriented PPIs focus on strengthening positive emotions in interpersonal relationships. Healthy social bonds – both at personal and professional fronts are essential for happiness and inner peace

With above interventions and many more suchpositive psychology intervention we can step up towards prepairing mind to be healthy and that healthy mind lead to help us in following healthy lifestyle.

Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy and how it works

Hypnosis -- or hypnotherapy -- uses guided relaxation, intense concentration, and focused attention to achieve a heightened state of awareness that is sometimes called a trance. The person's attention is so focused while in this state that anything going on around the person is temporarily blocked out or ignored and person get highly suggestible.

Hypnosis is highly effective therapy. In past 8 years I witnessed a change and resolution of issues of my client. The best part in the therapy is that you not have to tell each and every detail and still you able to find solution of your issues.

डिमेंशिया के मरीजों की देखभाल कैसे करें :

मेरे पिछले सात साल के अनुभव और अलग अलग स्टेज के डिमेंशिया मरीजों पर काम करने के अनुभव के अनुसार अगर आप के परिवार में या आप किसी ऐसे मरीज के संपर्क में आए तो निम्न बातों का ध्यान अवश्य रखे।

1 किसी भी बात पर बहस ना करे। अगर आप मरीज को सही करने की कोशिश करेंगे तो उससे मरीज के व्यवहार में विपरीत असर हो सकता है। मरीज खुद को असहज और असमंजस में महसूस कर सकता है।

2. मरीज के साथ उनके द्वारा कही हुई बात पे स्वीकृति दिखाए।ऐसा करने से आप उनके ज्यादा करीब हो पाएंगे और मरीज का आपके प्रति स्वीकार्य भाव भी बड़ेगा।

3. मरीज के अशांत होने पर खुद को नियंत्रित रखे और धैर्य रखें। डिमेंशिया के मरीज आपके चेहरे के हाव भाव देख कर और उत्तेजित या शांत हो सकते है।

4 डिमेंशिया के मरीज को पूर्ण रूप से मानसिक विक्षिप्त ना समझे। उनमें भावनाओ की समझ होती है और वह भी अच्छा या बुरा महसूस करते है।

5 डिमेंशिया के मरीज की दुनिया को देखने की वास्तविकता बदल जाती है और उसके लिए वही सच्चाई होती है। इसको समझने के लिए आपको खुद को उनकी जगह पर रख कर देखना होगा। सहानुभूति का भाव रखना होगा।

According to American psychological association If you experience any of the following emotions or feelings to the extent that they interfere with life, therapy may help you reduce their effects. It’s especially important to consider getting help if you feel controlled by symptoms or if they could cause harm to yourself or others.

Overwhelm.

You might feel like you have too many things to do or too many issues to cope with. You might feel like you can’t rest or even breathe. Stress and overwhelm can lead to serious physical health concerns.
Fatigue. This physical symptom often results from or accompanies mental health issues. It can indicate depression. Fatigue can cause you to sleep more than usual or have trouble getting out of bed in the morning.

Disproportionate rage, anger, or resentment.

Everyone feels angry at times. Even passing rage isn’t necessarily harmful. Seeking support to deal with these feelings may be a good idea when they don’t pass, are extreme compared to the situation, or if they lead you to take violent or potentially harmful actions.

Agoraphobia.

People with agoraphobia fear being in places where they might experience panic attacks or become trapped. Some people may become unable to leave their houses.
Anxious or intrusive thoughts. It’s normal to worry about things from time to time, but when worry takes up a significant part of your day or causes physical symptoms, therapy can help you deal with it.

Apathy.

Losing interest in usual activities, the world around you, or life in general can indicate mental health issues like depression or anxiety.

Hopelessness.

Losing hope or motivation, or feeling as if you have no future, can indicate depression or another mental health condition. Feeling hopeless from time to time, especially after a period of difficulty, isn’t uncommon. But when it persists, it may lead to thoughts of su***de.

Social withdrawal.

Many people feel better when they’re able to spend at least some time alone. Introverted people may need even more time alone than others. But if you feel distressed around others or fear being with other people, therapy can help you understand and deal with these feelings.
