💭 What’s the difference between an early embryo and a blastocyst stage embryo?

In IVF, embryos grow in the lab for a few days before being transferred to the uterus.

Early embryos are usually transferred on Day 2 or Day 3, when they have just started dividing.

Blastocyst embryos develop till Day 5 or 6, reaching a more advanced stage with a higher chance of implantation.

The choice between an early or blastocyst transfer depends on embryo quality, patient history, and your doctor’s assessment. 🌱✨

At AFGC, we monitor every embryo’s growth closely to give each patient the best chance at success. 💙

💭 Fresh or Frozen Embryo Transfer — which one is right for you?
In IVF, embryos can either be transferred fresh—a few days after egg retrieval—or frozen, to be transferred later when the body is hormonally balanced and ready. ❄️✨

Both methods are safe and effective. The best choice depends on your health, hormone levels, and your fertility doctor’s recommendation.
At AFGC, we tailor every treatment plan to ensure the best possible outcome for every patient. 💙

💭 What are the risks in IVF?
IVF is generally a safe and effective treatment for infertility, but like any medical procedure, it comes with a few potential risks.
Some women may experience mild side effects such as bloating, mood changes, or discomfort, while rare cases may involve ovarian hyperstimulation or multiple pregnancies.

The good news? 🌿 With proper medical monitoring and expert care, these risks are minimal and manageable.
At AFGC, your safety and emotional well-being come first — every step of the way. 💙✨

🌸 Many couples wonder: If 10 follicles show up on ultrasound, does that mean 10 embryos?
The answer is no. Not all follicles contain mature eggs, and not all eggs fertilise successfully. IVF is about quality, not just quantity. 💙✨

🌸 What’s the difference between IVF and ICSI?
✨ IVF → Eggs & s***ms are combined in the lab, and fertilization occurs naturally.
✨ ICSI → A single s***m is directly injected into the egg, often used in male infertility cases.

Both methods offer hope for parenthood, depending on the couple’s needs. 💕
