💭 What’s the difference between an early embryo and a blastocyst stage embryo?
In IVF, embryos grow in the lab for a few days before being transferred to the uterus.
Early embryos are usually transferred on Day 2 or Day 3, when they have just started dividing.
Blastocyst embryos develop till Day 5 or 6, reaching a more advanced stage with a higher chance of implantation.
The choice between an early or blastocyst transfer depends on embryo quality, patient history, and your doctor’s assessment. 🌱✨
At AFGC, we monitor every embryo’s growth closely to give each patient the best chance at success. 💙
