You may be having COMPUTER VISION SYNDROME...

Prolonged use of computer, tablet and cell phone use can lead to group of eye and vision related problem known as DIGITAL EYESTRAIN OR COMPUTER VISION SYNDROME.
The most common symptoms associated with Digital Eye Strain are:
• Eyestrain and headaches
• Dryness, burning sensation, irritation, redness.
• Blurred vision
• Neck and shoulder pain
Therapy
• Having a routine comprehensive eye exam is the most important thing you can do to prevent or treat computer vision problems
• To prevent eyestrain, try to rest eyes when using the computer for long periods. (Take small break after every 30 minutes of computer use). During the break, focus at distant objects for few seconds and then close the eye for few seconds. Also do not use mobile or other digital devices during breaks.
• Blink frequently (and fully) to remoisten the surface of your eyes and avoid dry eye symptoms.
• Macular carotenoid supplements (lutein, zeaxanthin, and mesozeaxanthin) can reduce the harmful impact of blue light.
• Use of proper corrective glasses for refractive error should be done.
• Minimize glare on the computer screen by using a glare reduction filter. Also, keeping screens clean; dirt-free and removing fingerprints can decrease glare and improve clarity.
