On Fear
There is one emotion of which there is the most mention in most scriptures of the world. Fear is the ignorance of your true nature.
The physical symptoms show the intensity of fear. The muscles of the body tighten, the mind runs to the future, “what if..”, our behaviours is one of avoidance and our energy contracts.
The Bhagwat Geeta teaches us that we fear because we don’t know that we are not really bodies, ‘ na jaaete mriyate wa kadaachin..’. The Gurubani tells us that the evolved one becomes ‘nirbhau, nirvair..’ ( without fear, sans enemies). The Bible and the pak Koran also talk about the quality of fearlessness.
Fear is actually a teacher which tells you about where you are attached, wounded and need healing.
The greatest fear is the fear of death. Once you have ‘gyaan’ ( knowledge) about birth and death, your dear will dissipate.
Meditation is one of the best ways to overcome and know your true real self .
