There are no evidences to avoid soya products in thyroid patients..so there is no specific diet..only follow the diet with high fiber and drink lots of water..

Never go for the thyroid test in the evening ..better to give the sample in the morning befor 10 am.and don't take the thyroid medicine (thyroxin) in the morning on that day..if you are going for first time for thyroid test then better to give empty stomach..

Thyroxin shud be taken empty stomach , at least 60 minutes before the breakfast .or at bed time ( minimum 3 hours after the evening meal).for better absorption ..

Never take calcium in the morning if you are taking thyroxin for hypothyroidism. Take the calcium in the evening otherwise calcium can interfere with your thyroid medicine..
