Invited as an Expert Speaker for Cancer Conclave hosted by to speak about ‘Emotional Wellness during Cancer’. The talk covered various aspects including emotional management of diagnosis, caregivers’s role, caregivers’ support structures, importance of support groups, and role of doctors in providing compassionate care!

It was a pleasure to share space with other experts and discuss about holistic care!

Thank you to those who checked on me and asked why I am not so active on MannRaahi page.
So, here is an update - I was in the US till the first week of October. I was there to present a research paper on Determining Priority Teaching Competencies along with my ETS colleagues.
It was an exciting work trip with lots of learnings - both personal and professional! 🦋🧿🤍

Was invited to take a session by the Computer Science Department, Indira Gandhi Delhi Technological University for Women (IG-DTUW) on ‘Be kind to your Mind: Prioritizing Your Mental Health during College’ to address the incoming first-year batch of students.

It was inspiring to engage with these young women as they embark on their college journey. We discussed the importance of mental well-being, strategies for managing stress, and ways to build a supportive network. I hope they left with a better understanding of how to balance academic pressures with self-care and resilience.

We are looking to hire a Counselling Psychologist (part time basis) for one of our partner Universities.

📍*Responsibilities*
- Take Individual/group Counseling sessions for the students of one of our partner Universities.

- 2-3 visits per week for minimum 2 hours on each day.

📍*Eligibility Criteria:*
- Masters degree in Counselling/Clinical Psychology
- Minimum 2 years of experience in counseling adolescents or Young adults.

Our Story

Together We Can was founded by Aakanksha Bhatia to create a platform for young students to achieve their goals in the discipline of Psychology. Aakanksha is an accomplished scholar, educator, and psychologist with strong academic background in Psychology and Education. She has been the college and North Campus topper while pursuing B.A. Honors and secured third position during M.A. Psychology from University of Delhi. Further, she did B.Ed. from Central Institute of Education, University of Delhi and is currently pursuing PhD in Psychology from University of Delhi. She qualified UGC NET-JRF and is currently UGC-Senior Research Fellow (SRF). Her PhD research is grounded in the everyday exchanges of social inclusion and social exclusion in educational context with a focus on development and gender. Apart from presenting several research papers at national level, she presented two research papers at International Congress of Psychology (ICP) at Yokohama, Japan in 2016. She has research publications in the domains of social inclusion and exclusion, intimate relationships, and religion.

She has proved her mettle as an educator while working as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Daulat Ram College and Ramanujan College, University of Delhi. With an innovative pedagogic style, she has efficaciously contributed in stimulating and sustaining her students’ interest in the discipline. Being a young and dynamic scholar with deep understanding of the socio-psychological nuances of education, inclusion and gender in our country, she is determined to bring a positive change in the lives of all sections of society. She has worked as a volunteer with several NGOs and conducted workshops and awareness programs on a wide spectrum of topics. With a gender transformative focus she conducted workshops with students and teachers on sexual health and hygiene, and life skills. She also worked towards capacity building of teachers and community workers to be responsive towards children with special needs, and to build inclusive classrooms. As an individual, she strives for excellence in all her pursuits.

With her educational background and experience in the field of Psychology, she envisioned on creating a platform via Together We Can through which aspiring psychologists can be guided towards their career progression.
