Strengthening organ donation and transplant services in Tripura.

During a visit to Agartala Government Medical College under SOTTO Tripura, Dr. Sana Ahuja, Specialist Grade III, and Raman, Consultant, NOTTO, New Delhi met Shri Kiran Gitte, Secretary Health and Family Welfare, and Dr. HP Sharma, Director Medical Education.

The discussion focused on the National Organ Transplant Programme (NOTP) and its effective implementation in the state. Key areas included the expansion of NTORC (Non Transplant Organ Retrieval Centres) and the upgradation of the existing centre at AGMC.
