Just thought I'd share something from my personal diaries today - me on my first international trip circa 1979/80... Simpler times I must say and that's me on the right, sporting, as I've been told - the GenZ pulled up socks !

My millennial daughter is shaking her head as she's part of the generation that fought so hard against this (with their terrible rolled down and ankle length socks - the Bane of every teacher's existence in school) just to see it become fashion. 🌊 The rhythmic sounds of the ocean waves can be very therapeutic. It activates the parasympathetic nervous system helping decrease anxiety & lower blood pressure. Just staring at the ocean can change our brain waves frequency pulling us into a meditative state.

🌊 Looking at the ocean can activate the op**te receptors in the brain to release our happy hormone dopamine.

Nearing the fag end of Makki di Roti season...

Our typical Sunday brunch in the Delhi winters is some fresh, hot Makki di Roti with lots of Methi added to the roti itself which not only adds to the taste but also adds to the Iron and Fibre. I love eating it with my swirl of butter or ghee. While I much prefer the homemade white butter, I know that's not always plausible. Remember not all fats are bad!
