DGCA class 2 medical examinations are getting tougher and more stringent . Please be honest for declaring your past medical illnesses . Do not hide your medical conditions.You can bypass one Doctor but all the years getting class 1 you will not be able to dodge the medical specialist . I am saying with more than 30 years of experience. Happy flying.

Requesting candidates coming for class 2 medical initial issue to please stop taking meat and eggs 2 days before medical exam. Small trace in urine of protein causes concerns and disqualification.. Unnecessary repeating test. Please follow for safety.

Dear Aspiring Pilots do not get eye Surgeries done before the medical examination done by an authorized medical DGCA aviation examiner. There are conditions which are permissible. We are coming across students doing too much research work getting correctional surgeries and than failing class 1 medicals. Please be careful before you opt for the knife.

Class 2 Medicals for pilots are digital now and eGCA registration is the first step. System is new and has its own teething troubles. please bear with the system for a few months more. Things should be pretty smooth in months to come. Keep flying.

A lot has changed in DGCA medicals. Everything has gone digital. Which is the way to go eventually. Things are a bit rough now.... usual teething troubles, should settle in a while.

Requesting all aspiring pilots to get eGCA registration before approaching Aviation medical examiners.

As every organization has reformed and made changes in its operations , so have the medical examinations for aspriging Pilots getting class 2 and 3 medical getting a Digital makeover. A task pretty difficult to accomplish since it involves lot of sensitive data to be in one place, submitted by candidates and then additions made by Doctors and issuing of final dispersal. It is not that easy to taking time.Till then all the aspiring pilots need to fill the egca registrations and get the medical done in new way. Difficult but I am sure the teething troubles will go off soon . Happy flying .

All aspiring pilots would need to register on the new DGCA website and get eGCA ID before you proceed for Class 2 medicals .This process would be completely Digital and fairly cumbersome to begin with at the time of initiation. But I am sure with time we shall be completely digital and you can have your class 2 exam results on mobile app as well.

No class II medical in the month of May 2020. Not files shall be accepted by DGCA . Friends study and prepare for exams . That is the best at this time .
