Some may experience mild, temporary effects such as bloating, mood changes, or slight discomfort much like regular menstrual symptoms. In rare cases, a condition called ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) may occur, but your doctor will carefully monitor and guide you to ensure the journey remains safe and comfortable.

Myth.
Drinking more water is great for your overall health, but it doesn’t directly prevent dry skin. Dry skin is usually caused by external factors like cold weather, low humidity, hot showers, or harsh soaps. To keep skin from drying out, moisturizers, gentle cleansers, and protecting your skin from environmental factors are more effective.

That said, staying well-hydrated does help your skin look healthier and function better overall, so drinking enough water is still important, just not a magic cure for dryness.

A cataract is an age-related problem, but today’s lifestyle can cause it to develop as early as 14. Previously, cataracts used to develop after the age of 60, but now they are occurring earlier, affecting a large population.

In this video, we will discuss the right time to get cataract surgery done.

Previously, large incisions were required to remove the clouded lens that is why it was recommended to wait until the cataract has become ripe. YAG laser capsulotomy is a non-invasive procedure commonly performed after cataract surgery to address a condition known as posterior capsular opacification (PCO). PCO occurs when the clear posterior capsule, which holds the artificial lens implanted during cataract surgery, becomes cloudy over time, causing blurred vision and glare.

During a YAG laser capsulotomy, a highly focused laser beam is used to create a small opening in the cloudy posterior capsule. This opening allows light to pass through unobstructed, restoring clear vision. The procedure is quick, painless, and typically does not require any downtime.

YAG laser capsulotomy is an effective and safe treatment option, with a high success rate in improving visual clarity. If you have undergone cataract surgery and are experiencing vision changes or glare, consult with your ophthalmologist to determine if YAG laser capsulotomy is a suitable option for you.
