⚠️ URGENT ALERT – Counterfeit Rabies Vaccine (Abhayrab), Batch No. KA24014 🚨

Dear RDCA Members,

📢 We have received a critical communication from the Drugs Control Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, regarding the circulation of a ⚠️ counterfeit version of Rabies Vaccine (Abhayrab), Batch No. KA24014 by Human Biological Institute (a division of Indian Immunologicals Limited).

🚨 This fake vaccine is being distributed in Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Lucknow and poses a serious risk to public health, as it is circulating without maintaining the required cold chain (2-8°C) ❄️. A detailed comparison report 📑 highlighting its differences from the original is attached.

🔴 Immediate Action Required:

✅ Inform all pharmacies and chemists in Delhi about this issue.
✅ Ensure strict vigilance 👀 regarding the purchase and sale of this product only through proper invoices 📜.
✅ Report any suspicious activity related to this counterfeit batch immediately 📞 to the Drugs Control Department.
