COVID-19 has pushed us to brinks of our comfort zones. All of us have worked very hard realigning our life to fit this new reality. I have written this article on habits and why some realigning may have been full of pain and struggles.

Why is it so difficult to change our habits? Why do we end up breaking New Year's resolutions year after year? The answers are deeply intertwined with how the brain works to slot experiences as useful or harmful, and maintain equilibrium.
