Lower Back Pain is the leading Cause of disability
It is a condition in which encompasses a multitude of diagnoses associated with structures in the lower back and it may be referred pain or not, depends upon which structures are involved.
There are 3 type of LBA depending upon duration, like acute (if suffering from less than 45 days), sub- chronic (suffering from 45 days to 90 days), and chronic (more than 3 months).
Lower back pain (LBA) is further classified into 3 categories like 1. Spondylitis, 2. Spondylosis, 3. Spondylolisthesis
Common cause of LBP tight of hip flexor, tight of upper back muscles, osteoporosis, slipped disc, arthritis, muscular weakness, trauma, work related injury, scoliosis, poor posture, repetitive lifting and twisting and apart from that Mechanical lower Back pain in this condition there are other structures which are compromised and causes lower back pain like someone is having Misalignment of Spine or other Postural issue like high arch or arch Drop (foot)
Symptoms of LBP It may be static or referred, dysfunction of joint, muscles spasm, numbness in leg, tingling sensation and from dull pain to severe pain in single leg or both legs or it could be pain at lower back only etc. Diagnosis of LBP according to the symptoms of the patients, physical examination like observation and palpation of that region, gait, ranges of motion of lower back and hip joint and muscles straight and some special test. X-ray, CT scan and MRI are helps to find out the exact part which are involved in LBP
