We are excited to share a significant milestone in our journey toward inclusive education.

A total of 47 learning camps have been successfully launched in Katihar district, reaching 1,369 learners who have taken a powerful step toward their second chance at education under the Project "Pragati".

These learners have now begun their journey toward achieving Matriculation through the BBOSE, opening new pathways to confidence, opportunity, and a brighter future.

This initiative reflects our continued commitment to empowering learners through access, support, and quality education. We are proud to walk alongside them as they work toward realizing their dreams.

Together, we are not just creating opportunities, we are transforming lives.

Today we organized a stakeholders’ meeting with the Gram Pradhan, Ward Panch, Anganwadi workers, ANM, community members, teachers, youth, children and representatives from various institutions.

Every stakeholder has played an important role in our five-year action plan. Their support has helped us move steadily toward our goals and strengthened the impact of our work on the ground.

This ceremony was our way of expressing gratitude and appreciating their contribution. We honoured them with a shawl, safa and a shield as a mark of respect and sincere thanks. We also shared our hope to continue working together in the future as valued partners of Dr. A. V. Baliga Memorial Trust.

Grateful to everyone who stood with us and contributed to this journey. Together, we look forward to building even stronger outcomes for our communities.

Yesterday, SGBS UNNATI Foundation | NGO | Bangalore | India organised a counselling call for Batch 34, and we’re happy to share that all students performed exceptionally well on the 18th day of their training.

Their progress reflects the hard work they are putting into the programme and the confidence they are building with each session. Moments like these remind us why continuous support and guidance are so important for young learners.

We extend our sincere gratitude to SGBS UNNATI Foundation | NGO | Bangalore | India, our valued partner, for their consistent support and commitment. Their mentorship plays a key role in shaping our trainees’ growth and helping them prepare for real opportunities ahead.

Today, on International Child Rights Day, we renew our commitment to creating a safer, stronger and more inclusive world for every child.

At Dr. A V Baliga Memorial Trust, we work every day to ensure that children across India have access to learning, protection and opportunities that help them grow with confidence and dignity.

Our teams and community partners continue to support children through activities that build creativity, leadership and awareness of their rights. From education and life-skills sessions to community mobilisation, each effort brings us closer to a future where every child is heard, valued and empowered.

Dr A V Baliga Memorial Trust celebrated Children’s Day across our project locations in Bihar, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and Jharkhand etc, with great enthusiasm.

Children took the lead in a range of activities, including drawing, writing poems, stage performances and garden clean-up drives. Their energy and creativity made each event meaningful and memorable.

These moments reminded us why child development and empowerment remain at the heart of our work. We are proud of every child who participated and grateful to our teams and community partners for making the celebrations special.

Together, we continue to create spaces where every child can learn, express and grow.

4-Day Prerak Residential Neev Training Completed Successfully!
We are delighted to share that Dr A. V. Baliga Memorial Trust, Katihar, successfully organized the Prerak Residential Neev Training in two batches from 3rd to 10th November 2025.
This intensive 4-day training equipped our Preraks with the essential knowledge and skills required for the next phase-Enrolment Drive, Subject Readiness, Camp Setup, and effective Camp Functioning.
With hands-on sessions and practical demonstrations using the “Pragati Performance Application”, our Preraks are now fully prepared to take impactful action on the ground.
A big thank you to all trainers, facilitators, and participants for their dedication and active engagement throughout the program. Together, we’re moving one step closer to ensuring education and empowerment reach every learner!

✨ Visit of TDH France Team at Baliga Trust’s ELC, Mangolpuri (Delhi)

We were honoured to host Mr Denis and the team from TDH France at our Empowerment and Learning Centre (ELC), Mangolpuri, on 5th October 2025.

During the visit, our Executive Director, Ashok Singh Jha, shared an overview of Baliga Trust’s journey and the Tdh-Dachser-supported project focused on skill development and livelihood opportunities for youth.

The interaction between the visitors and the youth was highly engaging and insightful. The discussions covered local social challenges, gender issues, and gender-based violence prevalent in the community. Our young participants also showed great curiosity, asking thoughtful questions about France, its culture, and people.

The TDH France team deeply appreciated the spirit, commitment, and resilience of the youth and the continuous efforts of Baliga Trust.

They remarked:

“We are truly motivated and impressed to hear about the impactful work being done here by Baliga Trust and the young people, even in the face of so many challenges.”

A heartfelt thank you to TDH France for their encouragement and continued support. Together, we remain committed to empowering youth and fostering lasting change. 💪🌱
