✅ What to Eat

Iodine : rock salt, sea vegetables (small amounts)

Selenium-rich foods: 2–3 soaked Brazil nuts, sunflower seeds

Zinc sources: pumpkin seeds, legumes

Protein: dal, paneer, curd, eggs (if non-veg)

Anti-inflammatory foods: turmeric, ginger, seeds, nuts, olive oil , avocado, apple

Fiber: vegetables, oats, flaxseeds

⚠️ Limit / Avoid

Excess raw goitrogens: cabbage, broccoli (cook them instead)
cruciferous vegetables

👉Cruciferous vegetables include broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts and kale, interfere with your thyroid uses iodine. These vegetables contain sulphur containing compunds called glucosinolates

TPO antibodies

Raised TPO antibodies indicate Hashimoto's thyroiditis

This is an autoimmune condition where the body attacks the thyroid

Early stages: TSH, T3, T4 can still be normal, but damage is ongoing

👉Grave's Disease

TSH is made by the pituitary gland
The body produces antibodies less TSH
These antibodies overstimulate the thyroid gland
