Who says virtual Animal Intervention Sessions are not effective?
We've been working for an institution that works closely with 'persons with mental illness' and their families. Since the pandemic our sessions have been virtual only but we have had an overwhelming response .
Benefits of virtual sessions :-
A. People who are otherwise scared of dogs also participate in virtual sessions.
B. More one on one engagement is possible.
C. Dogs are less stressed out as they participate in their own comfort space ( home office).
D. Families of the participants are also comfortable with patients engaging with dogs virtually.
Sometimes some changes happen for the best 👌
