🌸🌸Half an hour of silence

Robin Charm wrote that Buddhist monks have a technique for strengthening willpower, keeping silent for 3-5 hours.

However, there’s a technique you can try out today already – daily silence for 30 minutes.

If you really need to speak, then you can limit yourself to just a few words.

Believe me, the results will speak volumes.🌸🌸

Silence is wisdom

Discovering yourself means finding out all your little peculiarities

For example, you may find out that you like espresso, rather than cappuccino, even though both contain caffeine. Or realize that due to your character, you can't work in an office and must seek freelance work.

To get interested in people and find out why you don't like everyone. To figure out what makes you happy and allow yourself to practice it. Realize that you don't feel great in November, but April is the time of renewal for you.

This process is like building a house, brick by brick, tile by tile. The more different materials you use, the bigger, more interesting and more beautiful your house is. Your house has an entrance and windows, and not everyone you let in.

Life is given to us to know ourselves, so use every step you make to get closer to yourself.

Why do we live in the world of total annoyance?

We get annoyed by things that are peculiar to us. Or more precisely, by things we don't want to admit and accept in ourselves.

▫️ People don't live up to our expectations. The closer a person is to us, the more we consider her/him as a friend, the more we demand from him or her.

▫️ We are often annoyed by other people's achievements. That happens because we compare our own weaknesses with the strengths of others.

▫️ We are so wrapped up in material things that we forget about the true values we get for free - relationships.

What's the result?
Dislike and rejection of yourself generates dislike of those around you, because what we see in the world around us is just a reflection of what is inside of us.
