He has a tremendous experience with cardiology since last 20 yrs. His speciality lies in cardiology, and super speciality in non invasive cardiology.
-He did his fellowship Non Invasive Cardiology 1986-1988-USA Birmingham, UAB Hospital, Albama. He worked for Sir Ganga Ram Hospital as senior consultant (non invasive cardiology) from 1988 to 1995.
-Since then he’s serving us all as a senior consul
tant (non invasive cardiology) with Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, South Delhi. He has his own clinic in Noida too. Over a hundred doctors have been trained by Dr Kapur in echocardiography. Dr Kanwal Kapur has many credits to his kitty! He Introduced Dobutamine Stress Echo 1990 in Delhi for first time.
-He introduced Adenosine Stress Echo at Apollo Hospital in 2004. Also, he Introduced Foetal Echocardiogram in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in 1990. He has been consistent with many awards like he won ‘Distinguished service award’ at world conference on preventive cardiology for the years 2006 & 2007.
-Also he has been credited with lifetime achievement award (world conference) in the years 2008 and 2009. He has been awarded thrice in a row with Service excellence awards (for best cardiologist).
-Talking about publications, to his name he has, 60 publications in Non Invasive Cardiology including in several international leading (peer reviewed , International and national Cardiology Journals - 3-D Echo and speckle imaging.)
