An insightful Exposure Visit to Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences was successfully completed by over ninety (90) students, an event bringing together experts from academia, research, and industry. Dr. Milind N. Suryawanshi, Director, delivered the welcome address and briefed the importance of such exposure visits for the budding researchers and academicians. The event was graced by Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Atanu Kr. Raha and Guests of Honour Prof. Dr. Pallab Kanti Halder and Dr. Saurav Bhattacharya, who shared valuable insights. Technical sessions featured talks by Assistant Directors Dr. B.K. Sarkar, Dr. Anupam K. Mangal, Dr. Amit Kumar Dixit, Dr. Ch. Venkata Narasimhaji, Dr. Sharad D. Pawar, and Dr. T.K. Mandal. The visit concluded with laboratory tours, fostering knowledge exchange in Ayurvedic research. The exposure visit was planned by Dr. Subhalakshmi Ghosh, Founder & Director, Subhami Biopharma Pvt. Ltd., an Incubatee of Kolkata Biotech Park; IIC- Jadavpur University, Kolkata; Atal Incubation Centre, NIPER Guwahati; and Ignition Grantee & Incubatee : AIIMS Patna. Technical session was managed by Dr. Qadir Alam and Dhanvantari Vandana by Dr. Aishwarya Sen.

A recent publication from titled “Chromatographic estimation of caffeic acid and ferulic acid in different parts of Ipomoea carnea Jacq.: assessment of regional variance” (Journal of Planar Chromatography – Modern TLC, 2026) describes a validated TLC method for the simultaneous estimation of caffeic and ferulic acids in Ipomoea carnea. The study follows ICH guidelines and employs densitometric evaluation for precise quantification, while also assessing regional variations to support quality control of the plant. A meeting was held on 30/03/2026 between DDG (CCRAS), Dr. N. Srikanth, and Sri A.C. Chandrasekhar, SFS, Chief Executive Officer, Andhra Pradesh Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Board, along with a Research Officer of RARI, Vijayawada.
Key discussions focused on the establishment of a Raw Drug Museum, development of Miyawaki-based cultivation of medicinal plants, and the concept of a Medico-Botanical Plant Museum. These initiatives aim to strengthen conservation, education, and sustainable utilization of medicinal plant resources in the state.

The Ksharasutra unit was formally inaugurated on 30.03.2026 at the Regional Ayurveda Research Institute (RARI), Vijayawada by Dr. N. Srikanth, DDG, Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences.

The programme was organized under the guidance of Dr. B. Venkateshwarlu, Assistant Director In-charge, RARI, Vijayawada, Dr. A.J.V. Sai Prasad, Research Officer (Ayu), along with all Research Officers of the Institute.

During the programme, Dr. N. Srikanth, DDG emphasized the importance of promoting classical Ayurvedic procedures like Ksharasutra in modern healthcare settings and encouraged the team to maintain high standards in both clinical practice and research.

क्षेत्रीय आयुर्वेद अनुसंधान संस्थान (RARI), विजयवाड़ा में 30 मार्च 2026 को राजभाषा हिंदी कार्यशाला का सफल आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता प्रभारी सहायक निदेशक डॉ. बी. वेंकटेश्वरलु ने की तथा संस्थान में हिंदी के प्रचार-प्रसार पर प्रकाश डाला।
अतिथि वक्ता अंकिता श्रीवास्तव (राजभाषा अधिकारी, बैंक ऑफ बड़ौदा) ने हिंदी के नियमों, अद्यतन उपकरणों तथा कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता के माध्यम से कार्यालयीन कार्यों में हिंदी के प्रभावी उपयोग पर उपयोगी एवं ज्ञानवर्धक व्याख्यान दिया।
कार्यशाला में अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया।
कार्यक्रम का समन्वय डॉ. सविता पोशेट्टी गोपोड द्वारा किया गया तथा धन्यवाद ज्ञापन डॉ. सुजाता ढोके द्वारा प्रस्तुत किया गया।
A Rajbhasha Hindi Workshop was successfully organized on 30 March 2026 at RARI, Vijayawada. The programme was chaired by Dr. B. Venkateshwarlu, Assistant Director In-charge, who highlighted efforts to promote Hindi in official work.
Guest speaker Ms. Ankita Srivastav (Rajbhasha Officer, Bank of Baroda) delivered an informative session on Rajbhasha rules, updated tools, and the role of Artificial Intelligence in enhancing the use of Hindi in official work.
The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from officers and staff.
The programme was coordinated by Dr. Savita Gopod, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Sujata Dhoke.

The Deputy Director General (DDG), Dr. N. Srikanth, Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences, visited the Regional Ayurveda Research Institute (RARI), Vijayawada on 30.03.2026.
During the visit, he held detailed technical discussions with the Assistant Director (In-charge) and all Research Officers of RARI, Vijayawada. The discussions focused on ongoing research activities, future strategies, and strengthening the quality of scientific work at the institute. Key research areas were also identified for further development and focused study.
The interaction was highly productive and provided valuable guidance for enhancing research outcomes and institutional development.
