It endeavours to provide Mental Health Services such as Counseling, Psychotherapy, Emotional Intelligence Coaching. Some people call this ability survival instinct; some name it 'gut feeling' or willpower. Whatever it be called, there is something innate in us that drives us to understand things in a certain way, act as per what works for us and push ourselves to work on issues and make things rig

ht. It is this power that lies at the heart of our being and self-exploration. During challenging times we need to remember that we possess the power to explore, resolve, and change to become better than we already are. While most of the time, you are able to remind yourself of this power, there will be times when you will require the help to remind you of the same. Hence, at I'm Powered, we work towards helping you cope with the struggles that interfere with your goals, relationships, and overall sense of well-being by helping you discover your inner strength. We need to believe and allow ourselves to use our innate capabilities to grow and evolve. About DAMINI GROVER

Even before being a trained psychologist, I always found myself interacting and engaging with people –teaching, offering advice, suggestions, solutions or sometimes just sharing perspective to ease things out and bring some clarity into the picture. Hence, choosing Psychology came naturally. I graduated in Psychology from the renowned Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi University and further, did my Masters in Counselling Psychology from Amity University, Noida. Soon my interest in Psychology turned out to become my passion. Counselling for me is not just about offering solutions. Instead, it is a journey embarked upon by the individual and counsellor, into a sea of in-depth exploration and emotional awareness. In this journey, the counsellor supports the individual to understand his/her own emotions and thought processes to make informed decisions and choices. I, at ‘I'M Powered’, try to help you explore through these and empower you with the tools needed to deal with the challenges, problems, pressures and hassles in your life. I believe that, "We all have the power to be empowered" and hence go by the vision and name of 'I'm Powered'.

The last few months have been all over the place. From personal challenges to never ending health struggles, work being up and down and to add, the recent loss of my pet.. things haven't been easy...

We all think that everyone's life is perfect because we're so enamored by the stories and highlight reels that we see. But real life can be hard, challenging, messy and tough. It breaks you and forces you to put yourself together in ways you didn't even know you could.

Real mental, emotional and physical resilience is not about 'not having problems' but about having the internal resources to pick yourself up every time life throws something your way.

You have to keep working on yourself if you want to come closer to the life you want. You have to choose inner peace, self love, aligned relationships and those aren't easy. But worth it.

For me, amidst all the chaos, this moment right here is peace 🕊️

Hope you find yours too and if you do, let me know❤️

And you think a few holidays, rest, or self-care days are enough to overturn all of this? These patterns, survival mechanisms that have come to shape your essence, will go away in a few weeks or months of you simply resting?

Nope. Because filling yourself up or being alive again is not simply about self-care and physical nourishment. It calls for a soul-level nurturance that you now need to give to yourself along with the most important thing—time."

"This constantly being nice, available, letting go of your needs, altering yourself for the sake of others tears you apart bit by bit until nothing is left of you. If you don’t see yourself then no one else will and even if someone does, you won’t let them because that will feel so weird and alien.

Are you an emotional shapeshifter? Here are some patterns that typically show up that can tell you if you’re one or not:"

"Emotional safety is the foundation of relationships that allows trust and respect to foster. Without it, relationships will feel empty, strained, and unfulfilling.

A safe relationship is where you feel fully seen for who you are—no masks, pretense, and certainly no shrinking.

And that’s why need to talk more about it. Isn’t it?"

✨Personal post alert ✨
I've been meaning to put this post up for a while but just couldn't get to it!

We took this photograph just for fun during one of our content shooting days a few months ago. And every time I look at it, it gives me an undeniable reminder of how far I've come!

I still remember how badly I wanted to take up English Hons. in my Bachelor's but I got put on the waiting list while being immediately accepted for Psychology Hons. at Delhi University. I was upset initially and college wasn't easy for so many reasons. But one look at this photograph tells me how destiny had its own way of weaving both my love for reading, writing and understanding people & situations together.

No, my books aren't bestsellers but they are loved , appreciated and have touched people in ways that fills my heart with gratitude for my own challenges and struggles. For me,impact is success.

Yes there are still times when my own imposter syndrome kicks in. I wonder if I'm lagging behind or doing less. But those, are only fleeting moments now.

From people not showing up for even free sessions when I started off.. to the trust and faith they have in me, the journeys I'm able to facilitate, having a team of trusted therapists at .. It is fulfilling.

I could be something else in an alternate universe. For now, I'm content with where I am.

What feels like something you could try today? Let us know which one felt most comforting to you🤍

When you're having a hard day, even the smallest tasks can feel like too much.
Sometimes, all you need is something small that brings you back to yourself.

Here are 6 Micro-Practices that can help:

Breath reset: Take a moment to pause and take a few deep breaths. A few slow breaths can help calm your nervous system and create a little more space between you and the overwhelming thoughts.

Reframing thoughts: Notice if your mind is being harsh or critical. What would it sound like to offer a kinder perspective? It’s not about pretending everything’s okay, it’s about finding a softer way to hold your thoughts.

Grounding statements: Try saying something simple like, “I’m here. I’m safe. I can handle this moment.” Grounding statements remind your brain and body that you’re in the present, not stuck in a past fear or future worry.

Journaling prompts: Write down whatever’s circling in your mind. Even one sentence helps. You could start with - “Right now, I’m feeling…” or “What I need today is…” Putting it on paper can be a way of releasing it from your head.

Short walks: If it feels doable, step outside or move around your space. Walking even just for a minute or two can shift your energy, clear your mind, and reconnect you to your body.

Self-soothing phrases: Whisper something gentle to yourself, like - “I’m doing the best I can” or “It’s okay to not be okay right now” The way we speak to ourselves matters, so make it kind.

None of these are meant to fix everything. They’re just little ways to care for yourself in the middle of the hard things.
Start with one and come back to the rest whenever you need🤍
