We often label foods as “healthy” and assume we can have them in unlimited quantities… but that’s where most people go wrong.
Even the healthiest foods, when eaten in excess, can silently slow down your weight loss journey 👀
🥑 Avocado – Packed with good fats, but also high in calories. Half is enough, not the whole fruit daily.
🥜 Nut butters – Healthy? Yes. Easy to overeat? ALSO yes. One spoon turns into three very quickly.
🥣 Greek yogurt – High in protein, but flavored ones come with hidden sugars and calories. Always check the label!
🥥 Coconut water – Great for hydration, but still contains natural sugars. Multiple glasses a day = extra calories.
Weight loss is not just about WHAT you eat, it’s also about HOW MUCH you eat.
Healthy ≠ Zero calories
Healthy + Excess = Weight gain
Balance is the real key 🔑
