Saddened with the passing of Lord Meghnad Desai — an intellectual giant, a bold voice of reason, and a dear friend.

Over the years, I had the privilege of sharing many meaningful conversations and moments with him. His wit, wisdom, and depth of thought were unparalleled, but what I will remember most is his humility and warmth.

Lord Desai was not just an economist or parliamentarian — he was a thinker who challenged conventions, spoke truth to power, and inspired generations to do the same.

Humbled and honored to receive the Dr. M.L. Swarankar Oration Award at IPF Medicon 2025 — the 7th Annual International Conference of the Innovative Physician Forum — held on Saturday, 5th July at Vivanta, New Delhi.

It was also a pleasure to talk on the evolving role of AI and robotic surgery in shaping the future of surgical care.

Sincere thanks to the IPF community for this recognition and for fostering a spirit of innovation and collaboration in medicine.
