Your health is not a “nice to have”—it’s non-negotiable. 🩺✨

For too long, women’s health has been sidelined, minimized, and underfunded.

Our pain dismissed, our symptoms overlooked, our needs deprioritized. But we’re done waiting for permission to put ourselves first.

Demand better. Advocate louder. Your health deserves to be the priority. 💪

DYK: Honey is safe to eat during pregnancy!

Many people think pregnant women should avoid honey, but that’s a myth.

The concern about botulism only applies to babies under 12 months old, not to pregnant mothers.

Why it’s safe for you:

• Your mature digestive system can handle any potential botulism spores

• The bacteria doesn’t cross the placenta to your baby

• Your baby is fully protected inside the womb

Why infants can’t have it:

• Their digestive systems aren’t developed enough yet

• This restriction only starts after birth

So go ahead and enjoy honey in your tea, on your toast, or however you like it during pregnancy—it’s perfectly safe!

“Dr Seema Sharma is the other name of trust and compassion.

I went her through a refrence as I was not able to conceive my second baby.

Dr Seema analysed my case and only after two visits she referred me to Dr Ashwati Nair where I underwent IVF.

It's my 6th month running now and for further treatment I went to other doctors but could find only fraud people.

Finally I have decided to go back to her for correct guidance. Never have I met any such doctor who is so truthful and result oriented. Thanks a ton Dr Seema Sharma.

Best Regards” - Afreen

Don’t wait for a crisis to start caring. ⚠️

We take our health for granted until our body demands attention.

The energy you have today, the pain-free movement, the clarity—those aren’t guaranteed tomorrow.

Start honoring your health while you still have it to protect.

Prevention is power. Start now. 💛

DYK: Preparing for breastfeeding before baby arrives can make a real difference!

While you can’t physically “prepare” your body (your breasts are already ready!), educating yourself during pregnancy can help you feel more confident when baby arrives.

Helpful preparation steps:

• Take a breastfeeding class or attend a workshop

• Learn about proper latch techniques and different feeding positions

• Understand what’s normal in the early days (cluster feeding, frequency, etc.)

• Connect with a lactation consultant before or right after birth

Why it helps:

• Reduces anxiety and surprise

• Helps you recognize when things are going well vs. when to seek help

• Gives you realistic expectations

• Sets you up with resources before you need them

Breastfeeding is natural, but it’s also a learned skill for both you and baby. A little education now can save a lot of stress later!

What’s one thing you wish you’d known about breastfeeding before starting?

Those three things are yours to protect—fiercely. 🔥

Your imagination, creativity, and curiosity are what make you you. Don’t dim them for approval, shrink them for comfort, or abandon them because someone said “be realistic.”

Your wild ideas and wonder are your superpowers.

Guard your magic. The world needs what only you can create. ✨

DYK: New skin tags and mole changes are common in pregnancy.

Hormonal shifts during pregnancy can cause new skin tags to appear or existing moles to darken or change. Most of these changes are completely harmless and may fade after delivery.

What’s normal:

• Small skin tags in areas of friction (neck, underarms, groin)

• Moles becoming slightly darker

• New freckles or spots

When to check with your doctor:

• A mole that changes shape, size, or becomes irregular

• Any spot that bleeds, itches, or looks unusual

• New growths that concern you

Your doctor can evaluate any changes and give you peace of mind. Most pregnancy-related skin changes are temporary and nothing to worry about!

“I have had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Seema Sharma since 12-14 months .The doctor is experienced, professional, direct and welcoming.

We always felt that we could trust her, and because of her ever-present smile, we always felt at ease interacting with her.

I first visited Dr. Sharma when i was pregnant for third time after two missed abortions .

The doctor was so professional and explained how to carefully proceed with this pregnancy basis my previous history.

I had followed each of her instructions carefully and after eights months , I had a beautiful baby girl in my arms. We are grateful to her for this angel.

Even when i was admitted for observation in apollo cradle, she made sure that I am at great ease and proceed with normal delivery considering I already had 2 abortions and labour pain was unbearable.

I 100 percent recommend her services for other parents-to-be and couples facing issues in conceiving or female health related issues.”
