Do you ever feel like your parents don’t understand you, no matter how much you try?
Do you feel like the gap between you and your parents never seems to close?
Like your ideas never reach them?
Like there is some invisible gap between the two of you?
You are not alone.

This gap that you experience can be the generational gap.
Your parents and you have grown in different generations, around different people and different ideologies.
The times have changed and society has progressed.
It might feel like they don’t understand your ideas or are just too conservative.
But it could just be that they are trying to keep you safe.

Communication is the key here.
Talking to your parents and letting them know about the new things you have experienced
might make it easier for them to open up to your world and understand you better.

Remember!!
It is not “you vs them”.
Instead, it is you, with them – navigating life together.

Parenting today comes with a kind of pressure that no one really prepares you for.
You want to protect them. You want to guide them.
And yet, you question yourself constantly:
"Am I doing enough?"

But sometimes, they don’t need you to have all the answers.
They don’t need you to solve every problem.
They just need you to be there.
To sit with them, to listen, to let them know they're not alone in all the noise.

Some nights, it feels like your brain just won’t shut up.
Like you’re supposed to have it all figured out — be chill, be fine, be everything, all at once.
But honestly? You don’t. And that’s okay.

You’re allowed to not know yet.
You’re allowed to take up space, even when you don’t have the words.
