It is often said and claimed that gallstones can never be treated or cured as the mouth of gallbladder is opening on the upper side. And patients who are diagnosed with gallstones, even if the findings are totally incidental, they are rushed to surgery and are threatened if not operated asap then it may burst or it may lead to cancer and so many other illogical things even if the stone is totally non-reactive/silent. By these statements I don't mean to say surgery is totally out of question. It has it's importance but the surgery is being abused here that's what I implied.
Not every gallbladder stone case requires surgery. Some may not even require any kind of treatment at all. But surgery is the first thing they are advised which usually cost anything around 50-90k. And even if the financial cost is covered by panel or insurance it may cost patient lifetime suffering from indigestion, flatulence and restricted diet etc.
Here I am attaching one case of gallbladder stone cured successfully at out clinic in an elderly female of age around 70+.
Case - Patient presented with a usg report saying gallstone but pt said she does not want to go to surgery so she came at from a reference.
Pain was 2 days ago in right hypochondriac now painless. No other major symptoms. Hot and thirstless. Smiling while narrating her symptoms and occasionally showering blessings (like Dr shab thek kr do bhagwan bhala krega apka, Operation se bacha lo muje) talking very casually and like she has known me for a long time. This clicked the medicine and pt got relieved.
