We are happy to share that Auriga Research Pvt Ltd has been chosen to host the India Skills 2023-24 National Level Competition for Chemical Laboratory Technology. This prestigious event is a significant milestone in skill development, aiming to prepare participants for national and international competitions, including the WorldSkills Competition.
Background on India Skills 2023-24
India Skills 2023-24 is a skill development competition designed to foster and enhance skills in various domains. It serves as a precursor to the WorldSkills Competition, where top performers at the national level compete on the global stage.
Objectives:
•Promotion of Employable Skills: The program highlights the importance of developing skills that meet market demands, enhancing workforce acceptance in the industry.
•Addressing Skill Gaps: It aims to bridge the gap between academic degrees and practical skills, ensuring that the workforce is well-equipped for industry needs.
•Integration of Competencies and Knowledge: Equal emphasis is placed on competencies, applied knowledge, and hands-on training, preparing individuals to lead in the 21st century.
Understanding the WorldSkills Competition
The WorldSkills Competition, organized biennially by WorldSkills International, involves 86 member countries. It sets benchmarks for high performance and provides an objective measure of vocational excellence.
India’s Performance in WSC 2022:
In 2022, India participated in 50 skills, achieving its best-ever ranking of 11th position, with 2 Silver Medals, 3 Bronze Medals, and 13 Medallions for Excellence. Skills included hotel reception, mechatronics, mobile robotics, water technology, bakery, web technologies, and more. Competitors were selected through the India Skills Competition 2021 and trained under WorldSkills India Experts.
Government Initiatives on Skill Development
Several government initiatives support skill development in India, including:
• Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY)
• Sector Skill Councils (SSC)
• National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF)

Auriga Research-Manesar: Hosting the Chemical Laboratory Technology Skill Competition
Auriga Research Pvt Ltd is honoured to host the national competition for Chemical Laboratory Technology, scheduled between 15th to 19th May 2024 at our facility in Manesar, Gurugram, Haryana.
Auriga Research will provide:
•Adequate and well-equipped Chemistry/instrumentation laboratory space for 5 participants.
•Necessary consumables such as chemicals, glassware, and equipment required for the test projects.
•Suitable PPE, including lab coats, face masks, and gloves for participants.
This collaboration will be mutually beneficial, showcasing young talent and bringing national recognition to Auriga Research Pvt Ltd as a key partner with the Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council (LSSSDC).
