SIGNS OF KNEE OSTEOARTHRITIS

1. Reduced joint space between the affected knee
2. Early morning stiffness
3. Joint swelling and warmth
4. Unequal joint space narrowing
5. Pain on joint Palpation
6. Crepitus or abnormal joint sounds present during passive or active movement
7. Extra bony growth or osteophyte formation
8. Redness of the skin around the joint in most severe cases which is an indicative of acute inflammation following the acute cartilage loss.
