Had the honour of being invited to conduct a live workshop on at AIIMS New Delhi for the Postgraduate Procedural Dermatology Training.

The immediate results on the table with the use of US FDA approved threads was appreciable on the table.

It was lovely being falicitated by the young dermatology Brigade of the college.

Diwali is round the corner, and it’s time for festivities, eating, wearing make up and pollution from crackers and oil lamps.

Skin secrets

Diet: Hydrate yourself, have lots of fruit, eat light food. Sugars in mithai and alcohol at parties can make your skin dull and dehydrated.

Skincare: Avoid actives in this period, use micellar water to remove make up and use protective serums such as niacinamide and hyaluronic acid. Use gentle cleansers. Don’t use exfoliants. Sheet masks with chamomile, aloe Vera or green tea extracts soothe the skin and help repair it.

Face massage: To depuff the face after a night of drinking and having festive food is a good idea.

Exosomes are tiny regenerative powerhouses that have created a huge noise in Regenerative Medicine. Their size however, seems inversely proportional to the bimolecular secrets they carry. With such little known about them, we are truly clueless at the present time about what we are dealing with.

🏭🌮😴🥋The problem seems to be compounded by modern era changes in the environment, undue stress trying to cope with day-to-day problems, crash dieting and irregular food habits, not respecting the biological clock when it comes to sleep, lack of exercise, trying unsolicited advice to tackle the problem among many others.

With a lot of information and misinformation floating around on social media, peer talks and grandmothers’ home remedies about managing it, hair loss is more than what it seems to the eye. The same treatment cannot treat all, and neither cannot it treat all types of hair loss.

Diagnosing the cause, conducting tests and putting appropriate management strategies to treat it, are important to arrest it prevent or delay its worsening.

💉Face Lifting with Botulinum Toxin was a topic that made me delve deep into the science of the molecule.

📖Preparing this talk on a not-so-talked-about topic, made be learn some great clinical tips on how to put botulinum toxin to use for subtle lifting.

The “Grow” Summit held for Detmatologists and plastic surgeons at Chandigarh, was a well-attended and in-depth scientific summit on botulinum toxin.

Looking forward to an exciting research on the molecule by Gufic Aesthaderm on the made in India toxin, Stunnox.
